‘The Glory of the Garden’ Exhibition

31st August to 11th September  2012, 11am- 5pm.   Hastings Arts Forum, St. Leonards-on-Sea.

This is a group exhibition with work from a variety of creative practitioners who are inspired by the theme of the garden and all that is found within it. On show will be drawings, paintings, prints, photography, collage, millinery, sculpture and floral design. The exhibition will be opened by Fergus Garrett, head gardener at Christopher Lloyd’s famous garden at Great Dixter.

I have been asked to contribute a selection of my pictures of insects on antiquarian book covers and pages. Alongside moths, I will be exhibiting several bugs and beetle images. I have been making a number of new Japanese Stab-stitch books and booklets recently which will also be on display.
