Cranbrook Art Show

Thursday 8th- Saturday 10th November 2012.  Open daily 10am- 5pm. Vestry Hall, Stone Street in Cranbrook, Kent. www.cranbrookart.org.uk

Now in its twentieth year, the Cranbrook Art Show is a popular art event in the South East. Artwork is carefully selected from a wealth of local, professional artists and makers resulting in an interesting, high quality display of work from a wide range of disciplines. Each of the exhibitors has donated a piece of artwork which will be raffled during the show to raise money for charity.

I am excited to be exhibiting in this show as Cranbrook is the town in which I grew up and where some of my family still live. As a child I always loved drawing and painting and it was in Art lessons at school that I excelled. After my ‘A’ levels and having been awarded the annual Art prize at Cranbrook School, I left the town to pursue my passion for Art. Firstly, I did a Foundation Art Course and then I went on to do a degree in Graphic Design, specialising in Illustration.
